With regard to Christmas, we want to be transparent as we try to have as normal a festive period as possible. We would highly recommend placing your orders soon as we are getting very busy and delivery dates are filling up. Our supply lines are good at the moment but with the huge increase in orders, they are likely to deplete. Many of the products on the website will have an expiry date well after Christmas, so please order soon to avoid any disappointment.
We are prepared for various scenarios this Christmas however, there may be shortages of certain items. If that happens, we will substitute where possible and will get in touch if your order is impacted. While you stock up on the essentials, we highly recommend that you avoid the Christmas rush by placing your orders in advance.
We are sure that you are aware of the shortage of drivers in the UK, which is the result of Brexit. Due to this shortage, we have been made aware by DPD, our delivery partner, that next day delivery is not guaranteed over the Christmas period. We are therefore anticipating that a small segment of your orders will be delayed in transit during the run up to Christmas. We will be packing all orders with extra ice and dry ice to mitigate these delays and any orders that are affected will still arrive in good condition even if they are a day late.
As a niche food business, we are used to a certain degree of uncertainty with respect to procurement, and while we have managed to stay on top of things, we are still at the mercy of our own import deliveries.
