This peculiar shaped fruit is a member of the citrus family. The strong aroma or lemon can be smelt as soon as you hold the fruit. Unlike most other citrus fruits, there is no pulp or juice inside the fruit, just pith. The pith is not too bitter, so the whole fruit can be zested or shredded for its’ fresh flavour.
