Calasparra Paella Rice, 500g

Calasparra is a town near Valencia, in Spain. Despite its name, Calasparra rice has in fact been growing here since Roman times and to this day the rice fields are irrigated by water brought from a Roman aqueduct. This risottot rice is the highest quality short grain rice, absorbing liquid up to 70% of its size and therefore making a great ingredient to use in Spanish paella as each grain can individually soak up the aromatic flavours. You can serve it al dente with lemon wedges and cook over medium heat. Authentically packaged in a beautiful cotton snack.
