Description
These blue cheese and fig cups are perfect when you want something that looks fancy but doesn’t take much effort. You’ve got the sharp, creamy blue cheese playing off the sweet, juicy figs: a perfect combo. Wrapped in a crispy pastry cup, it only gets better with a quick drizzle of truffle oil at the end. That bit of truffle just adds a bit of depth, making it taste way more complex than it really is. They’re quick, easy, and look great on the plate. Serve them up as a little appetiser or alongside a salad, and you’ve got yourself a crowd-pleaser without breaking a sweat.
- 10 sheets of brick pastry
- 200g blue cheese (such as Bleu d'Auvergne or Stilton)

- Preheat the oven to 180°C. Lightly brush each brick pastry sheet with olive oil, fold in half, and place into tartlet moulds.
- Divide the blue cheese and fig slices among the pastry cups. Season with pepper and bake for 10 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, drizzle with truffle oil, and serve immediately as an appetiser or starter with a side salad.
