Description
This is the ultimate indulgent mashed potato: creamy smooth and full of the rich flavour of bone marrow thanks to our spectacular bone marrow butter. It couldn’t be easier: just cook your potatoes and melt them in as much butter as you dare!
- 1.5kg potatoes for mashing, such as Maris Piper or King Edward
- 200g bone marrow butter
- 2 tablespoons chives, finely chopped
- Cook your potatoes in boiling salted water.
- Drain well and mash with 3/4 of the butter until creamy. Taste and season with salt and pepper if necessary.
- Slice the remaining butter and serve on top of the mash where it will gently melt. Scatter with the chives, and serve.
