Description
Experience a burst of flavours with our guacamole & Creme Fraiche mini tart shells. These elegant and delectable tartlets combine creamy avocado guacamole with a hint of tangy Creme Fraiche, all nestled in a crisp canape shell. Perfect for any special occasion or gathering, these bite-sized treats are sure to impress your guests with their unique and delightful flavour profile.
- 10 tartlet shells
- 3 avocados
- 30g micro coriander
- 30g coriander (stems and leaves)
- 20g Crème Fraiche
- 1 garlic clove
- 1/2 shallot
- 1 chilli
- 1 lime
- 4 cherry tomatoes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Halve the chilli lengthways, remove the seeds and finely dice. Thinly slice the cherry tomatoes, shallot and garlic clove. Chop the coriander, including both stems and leaves and add zest of a lime.
- Halve the avocados, remove the seed and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl. Add the diced chilli, sliced tomatoes, shallot, garlic and chopped coriander to the bowl of avocado. Season with salt and pepper, then squeeze in the lime juice and drizzle with olive oil. Mash the ingredients with a fork or potato masher to your desired consistency.
- Transfer the guacamole mixture to a piping bag. Carefully fill each tartlet shell with the guacamole mixture, ensuring even distribution. Using another piping bag pipe a dollop of Creme Fraiche on top of each guacamole-filled tartlets. Garnish each canape tart shell with a micro coriander leaf on top of the Creme Fraiche.
- Arrange the tartlets on a serving platter and serve immediately.
