Smoked Salmon and Caviar Blinis

Hosting and in need of some canapes? You can’t ever go wrong with a platter of salmon and caviar blinis to kick off the evening. Pick up your favourite smoked salmon and caviar of choice and put together this elegant canape to impress your guests.

  1. Toast or gently heat up the blinis in a frying pan until warmed through. Place on serving plate and top with crème fraiche or cream cheese.
  2. Lay slices of smoked salmon on half the blinis and a spoonful (try not to use a metal spoon or it can distort the taste, we recommend mother of pearl) of caviar on the remaining blinis.
  3. Crack fresh black pepper over the salmon blinis and place a single chive atop to garnish, serve with a wedge of lemon. Serve immediately!
