Our famous American bacon is incredibly popular with our customers, as the crispy rashers transport them back to their American holidays and fond breakfast and burger memories. The hand-trimmed bacon is naturally smoked with beech and oak, before it is cooled slowly, leaving the meat with a full-flavoured bacon. The rindless slices of bacon fries perfectly and has a perfectly crispy finish, caramelising in the corners, just like the streaky bacon that is so loved at American breakfast bars.
From Europe, our favourite bacon is our Italian Alsace bacon, which has been a popular staple within the local cuisine there for many years. Sold as a whole piece rather than sliced, this is a versatile joint which has parallels with the more familiar Italian pancetta. To make this amazing bacon, the pork belly from the Eastern French region of Alsace, is rubbed in a number of spices and salt, before the curing process begins through wood-smoking, which gives it’s unique and full flavour.
Whilst some of our bacon products are sold pre-sliced, others are sold as the whole joint. This allows our customers to cut their bacon to the size and shape that they would like. We recommend cutting our Alsace bacon into cubes, similar to pancetta pieces, and slow cooking into a casserole, or using as the base for a delicious Italian Bolognese. In this region of France, Alsace bacon is used in sauerkraut, fusing the cultural dishes of nearby Switzerland and Germany, near the region’s borders. We have this traditional Italian form of bacon in 1kg and 3kg pieces, to accommodate your needs.
Pancetta is cured pork belly and hailed as the Italian bacon. It is salted and cured giving it a full-bodied flavour, enriched by layers of creamy fat that will and depth to any dish. Stuff a chicken breast with herbs and butter, wrap it in slices of pancetta, bake till browned and dig in to the best alternative chicken Kiev you will ever have!

The black treacle adds a delicious and deep flavour of smoky sweet treacle, balanced by the slightly salty cured flavour of the pork. Perhaps the most special bacon of them all, is the Iberico bacon – this thickly sliced fatty bacon is full of flavour, from the acorns that the black pigs are fed on. Iberico is world-renowned for being the ‘king’ of pork, so what better pork product to try it, than bacon?!
